About this artwork

Banksy's iconic Gangsta Rat is sitting next to a boom box, wearing a heavy chain and a New York Mets baseball cap. Above him are the letters "iPOW', an acronym for "I Paint On Walls." Spotted at various locations, there is no consensus about where the first sighting took place. Some say it was in Farringdon in 2004 , others say it was near the Moorfield Eye Hospital in 2006.
