About this artwork

This stencil portrays the striking image of two soldiers in front of a peace sign. One of the soldiers is holding a weapon, the other is painting the peace sign. It was painted close to the Houses of Parliament as an anti-war protest. Some suggest that it's a reference to the UK's participation in the Iraq war. A lot of soldiers were against the war, but they were not heard.
